The Little Kitchen Story
Little Kitchen was created in 2016 and is a brain child of Linzy Kastis (owner and founder). Having always enjoyed spending time creating food with my kids it was this that made me want to share my love of creating a healthy and fun relationship with food for kids worldwide. I have a huge passion for nutrition and food and I wanted to share it with children and parents alike. Our program has franchised around South Africa and has grown into three programs, babies, kids and tweens/teens. They are designed with the guidance of an Occupational Therapist, Dietician and Pediatrician.
What do we have to offer?
Workshops, Parties and more
These workshops are offered at either your child's school, child friendly venue or in the comfort of your own home for groups of 5 or more We also offer party options.
My twin girls absolutely loved attending Virtual Little Kitchen classes. Making all the items, eating all the ingredients while making the final product. They now love helping in the kitchen and not as fussy eaters. I will love to join more classes in the future. They also have got so much better with their cutting skills using their KiddiKutters.
Pamela Naik - mom of twins
Our time at Little Kitchen were always a highlight in our week. Not only did the classes inspire me as a mommy to be creative in food preparation for my girls but it challenged me to use every cooking moment as a learning moment. The classes were always so informative and I always walked away with a new tip that was so simple and easy to implement at home. My girls loved the classes and to this day they have the best hand washing skills, just because of the leadership of Little Kitchen.
My daughter started Little Kitchen classes when she was 2 years old, and is almost 4 years old now. She loved going and you could see the development at each class. When lockdown happened we went over to the virtual classes. It is so well thought out and easy to prepare for adults. The classes engage so many parts of your child's brain. An absolute quality money spend.
